Online Journalism

mother@work

I ran a website for working mothers called mother@work (www.motheratwork.co.uk) from September ’04 to January ’10. As a website dedicated to the working lives, family lives and personal lives of working mothers it grew from strength to strength, quickly establishing a large and loyal readership. The site carried features in many areas from work-life balance to finance and childcare and interviews with high profile working mums such as Prue Leith, Shirley Conran and Rachel Elnaugh as well as successful Mumpreneurs (who combine motherhood with entrepreneurship). Our annual awards were supported by Sarah Brown from day one.

I have also written a book entitled ‘Working Mothers: The Essential Guide’, first published in ’06, reprinted in 2008, 2010 and 2012 which you can read more about in the Authorship section.

Currently I can be found at my new blog home Planet Parenting.
